Our Dental Payment Plan

The aim of the Westdale Dental Payment Plan is to help you improve and maintain a healthy smile for life.

The plan has been designed to meet your particular dental needs and enables you to spread the cost of your dental treatment into monthly affordable amounts.

By participating in our practice plan you will benefit from:

  • Regular examinations
  • Regular hygiene visits and preventative advice
  • Personal care and attention
  • Freedom of choice
  • Spreading the cost of preventative care
  • High quality materials
  • 10% reduction on normal private fees
  • Optional insurance cover for emergencies whilst away from home
  • Peace of mind

Which plan?

We offer a choice of two preventative plans. Your dentist will be happy to discuss which plan will be best for you.

Plan A: Preventative Care - £14.00 per month

This plan comprises:

  • Twice yearly examination
  • Twice yearly oral hygiene treatment and advice
  • All routine radiographs
  • 10% discount on all other clinically necessary treatment

Plan B: Preventative Care Plus - £21.00 per month

This plan comprises:

  • Twice yearly examination
  • Quarterly oral hygiene treatment and advice
  • All routine radiographs
  • 10% discount on all other clinical necessary treatment

Registration fee

There is a one off registration fee of £12 to cover the initial administration costs. This is usually debited with your first payment.

Optional insurance

The scheme can also offer optional insurance which will cover treatment arising from sports and other accidental injuries and trauma, as well as emergencies arising while you are away from home. The cost of this option cover is just 63p per month which can be added to your monthly direct debit.

Paying for your healthcare plan

Paying for your dental care is easy by direct debit from your bank or building society. Just complete the application form and direct debit mandate (available from reception) and tell us when you would like the payments to start. Payments will usually be debited on the first of each month.

Not included in the plan

The following items are excluded from both plan options:

  • Orthodontic treatment
  • Implants
  • Necessary medicines and drugs for home use
  • Oral hygiene products and aids
  • Treatment provided on referral to another dentist
  • Out of hours call out fee
  • Emergency care whilst away from home (covered by optional insurance)
  • Treatment arising from a sporting injury and trauma (covered by optional insurance)
  • Charges for missed appointments
